Fall and FAIRS or FESTIVALS go hand-in-hand for me. And the State Fair of Texas is just around the cornder.
One thing that the state fair is famous for food are the freakishly uinque fried foods (or other strange concoctions).

- Give the food a name.
- Describe what the end product will be.
- Generate a way to cook this food (fried coke is not actually a fried ball of coke - it's a coke flavored CAKE that has been fried).
