Fair Food

It's officially FALL!
Fall and FAIRS or FESTIVALS go hand-in-hand for me. And the State Fair of Texas is just around the cornder.
One thing that the state fair is famous for food are the freakishly uinque fried foods (or other strange concoctions).

Read one of the following articles
State Fair Food List
State Fair Blog
State Fair Food Article 1
State Fair Food Article 2

Your assignment is to create a new fair food!
  • Give the food a name.
  • Describe what the end product will be.
  • Generate a way to cook this food (fried coke is not actually a fried ball of coke - it's a coke flavored CAKE that has been fried).

Take a look at the chemicals listed from 11 to 30. Choose one of these chemicals and use Google to search "what foods contain _(your chosen chemical)_". Report the following information/answer the following questions:

  • What foods do you eat that contain this chemical?
  • How do you feel about knowing this chemical is in something you consume?
  • Do you think the government should make it clear that there are potentially hazardous chemicals in foods? Explain why or why not.
